K9 mail and Hotmail

Just got my Rezound last week and the Hotmail/Microsoft Live worked for about a day (no surprise) and after an hour on the phone with Verizon I got K9 and took the other account off altogether. It's working pretty well but it's not syncing read/unread/deleted messages between phone and computers. I read one on the phone, it shows as unread on computer, vice versa and when I delete from phone, it stays on computer. I have clicked off delete mail off the server. Not sure what else to do.
