I'm seriously considering this once my Verizon contract is over...especially because of SIM cards. I would be able to virtually use any unlocked phone on the network.

I also brought this up under Verizon forum. I wonder if they will reconsider with this happening. Carriers can do what they want......so maybe they will. I won't leave Verizon for T-Mobile or Sprint tho. Their coverage is just too good for me to make the switch. I have been a customer for years, even when they were known as Airtouch. No one can touch the coverage in my opinion. I have a brother who was so glad to leave AT&T in Branson and he can't look back as well. It is what it is, but if those carriers work for anyone.....that's great. But for me, it won't.

Personally I had tmobile and the coverage sucks. Verizon knows they are the best period and they have plenty of customers to prove it. I'm not leaving.
