Gmail to pick up POP mail?

I would like to have gmail pick up my other POP email account. If I do this how quickly does it pick up mail from the POP account? I see you can't adjust the settings. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Less than 5 minutes. I don't know an exact time, but it is not hours or anything. Sometimes it can take a little longer to hit your phone, depending on when things are checked. I have had this setup for years, and prefer it to having 2 seperate email accounts on my phone. Also "sems" like it should save a bit of battery, as that's one less program wanting to update.

Great thanks. I wish it had pinch and zoom though. I'll give it a shot anyway.
