I recently purchased the rezound from a friend to replace my blackberry. It came with GB on it. As I was getting it set up I had a notification saying there was an update to jellybean, so I said yes. After it was loaded, the phone will not restart with new os.
I have loaded it on SD card and run from hboot, it installs and attempts to boot up. It gets to the white HTC screen and continues in the boot loop.
When I go into hboot, and then try to go to recovery, it says it can't read SD card and cache/recovery.
Is this phone a brick, or is it salvageable?
How could verizons own software disable my phone?
