I've had both running since MR2, and 3G watchdog is reporting about 75MB more data used so far this month. Haven't noticed much battery drain with either (or both in my case).

I may quit using them altogether, since I can now get a quick reading when I want one with the MyVerizon app. I'll report back if my battery life suddenly doubles or something. :)

thanks for your user experience. So the new update
did in fact fix the myverizon app to officially work besides
using the xda version?

I may have to go download the verizon app right now :)

MR2 installed it on its own (bloatware). It should be in your app tray now, and the widget is available to install from your widget list.
