Update Service Unavailable in Cincinnati, Ohio at 6:00 pm.

For those who may not know, there has been speculation that when you go to check for updates (Menu, Settings, Software update, Check new) and it says the service is unavailable, it could mean that the update servers have been taken offline so HTC/Verizon can load a new update to them. Thus, could an update be forthcoming? Who knows... time will tell.

Myself, I can't check as I'm rooted and disabled the software update process to prevent OTA's.

There hasnt even been a leak yet. No way an update is pending anytime soon.

I'm an hour north of Columbus and the service has been spotty as of late. Still no 4G as they claimed there would be by this time last year.

Also, my phone randomly restarted itself today. It hasn't done that since the Gingerbread update and I have no idea what caused it.

No new updates either.

Update service is working again. [
