Yep, the wifi antenna is built into the battery door. Which is what one pair of those contacts are for. The other is for the bluetooth antenna I believe. The cell phone antenna isn't though.

Good thing the phone antenna isnt there we dont want an iphone 4

This. If you are looking at the battery cover towards the inside, on the top left you'll see two metal contacts sticking out that correspond to two metal "plugs" sticking out of the same spot on the device. This functions as an attenuator for the antennas which would normally have trouble penetrating the unibody construction.
