Just checked mine I have sound. What about you voice recorder? Maybe we can see if its a Mic issue

When playing back the video hit volume up maybe the volume is turned down

My volume was all the way to the top and practically distorting what little was there lol but man the video was impressive for have almost no light!

I would assume software could fix this. I remember having blackberry and the speed dial tone used to be low after they sent out an its update it was much louder. I think the ringed volume too was bumped up and possibly the speaker volume. So I have hope it can be fixed

When I played back video, the sound is very low even when the volume is to the max. When I turned on the SRS sound enhance option it sounded better, but It's still not as loud as I thought it was going to be.

Yes you can hear a tv but the playback volume is very low.

Yours does sound fine, but I tried it with mine and couldn't hear netflix from my ipad only 3 feet away.
