Messaging problems

My fiance deleted the stock messaging app, she is using handcent for texts but both icons show up like the stock msg notification and handcent notification . How do I fix this

Well first off she didn't delete the stock msging app. Just deleted the shortcut icon for it. She needs to go into the stock msg app and turn off notifications in the settings.

did that and she really did delete it she went into titanium and deleted it

ok, i unrooted the phone then re rooted it, all notifications are off however the stock messaging notification still pops up

I rooted my TB would have bee good info to include in the post. I also need to manage my text notifications since I now get three.

You may have to re-install the app then to be able to change the settings as they are settings only able to be changed from with in the app.
