TB power off itself

Well this is the second time that happened to me, its fully charged and when i try to wake it up from sleep it, the screen wont turn on, i long press the power button, nothing. so i have to do a battery pull then it finally turns on. i have no idea whats going on, any help? also im rooted on a stock rom, just debloated and haven't upgrade the software.

I had this problem about a month ago, had my TB plugged in at nite and the alarm set..... well during the nite the phone would shut down and Id miss my alarm. The 3rd time it happened was exactly when the alarm was starting to go and then the phone shut down. I couldnt power it back on like before and pulled the batter and SIM card and still wouldnt power on. Took it in to VZW and they confirmed it was DOA and order me a replacement. Got the replacement....well that phone wouldnt power on either. Ends up it was the Battery that was bad.

is there anyway to find out if the battery is bad?

Not until it gets to the point that the phone wont power on
