So I'm using it to tether my new Asus i3 laptop. I'm keeping 3g only on my bolt. 4g comes and goes, won't hold a strong connection. Everything is installed correctly on both ends. My problem if it even is one. The internet speed seems like it should be faster. I realise it will not be as quick as an internet provider would be. I don't have internet in my home which is why I tether. Trying to avoid an added bill. So does anyone have a tip or trick I can do on My computers end to speed things up some? Maybe an internet setting I can change. My first laptop so a little new to it. But I can find my way around it pretty well. I know, I don't need to hear how I'm going to be cought and charged. Or that I'm the reason Verizon charges so much. I pay for unlimited data so what if I want to see it on My laptop. Thanks in advance for all your help.

The typical 3G speed is slow - i.e. 0.3 to 1.5mbps. Changing your PC probably won't change that.
