SD Card no read

I just got a replacement LG Revolution, with many problems with my old one Verizon sent a replacement. I noticed I on the old phone the SD Card was not being read.

Now with this replacement phone the SD Card was being read now a couple of days later I have no access to the card I down loaded the reader when I first received the phone because I could no read the card and a box popped up saying I need to download one so I followed the link and downloaded.

It worked for a day or so now it's not.

Anyone have a solution to fix this?

Copy files to computer and re format SD. ?

hey thxs S.M. i removed the sd card and plugged in to my desk top, just about every folder was empty except for the ones containing google apps and info. even though some folders are saying empty i did find some of my stuff in them, then i kept getting kicked out when i hooked my phone to my pc. on the phone it's not giving me the option to format on my pc it does as long as the sd card is in a card reader. i'm just going to go to verizon and tell them to fix it.
