after rooting problems with lights on front

After rooting I noticed the front search, app, home, etc buttons aren't lighting up like normal. They function when pressed but lights aren't working. Any ideas?

Menu settings display brightness. Turn auto off. After that, once it stops working again, plug it into ur computer and you should be good to go!

Works great thanks!. Sorry for the repeat, especially if there's been a fix posted already but any news on Getting the front search hardware button to go to google once the apk is installed and bing has been "frozen"?

There's a ROM @ xda, gingervolt that does this and more... eliminates some functionality of the phone like Facebook and Twitter for LG and a couple of other stock apps... worth a read at least.
