12-29-2013 Software update ready to install - Does anyone know what this update does?

My Note 3 began notifying of a new software update yesterday, Sunday, 12-29-2013.

This Note 3 just received a Verizon software update about two weeks ago and has been working wonderfully, so I am curious to know if anyone has any ideas about what this new update does for the phone.

Just checked for an update. None found. Perhaps Verizon is slowly rolling out the updates by region.

Agree its good to know what an update does before applying. Can you post a screenshot that shows the update message details?

Sorry, but I do not know how to take or post screenshots. I will type it below:

The notification screen indicates:
"Software update available
Tap to install new software"

After I tap the notice the screen indicates:

"Software update ready to install

This Software update includes enhancements and improvements to your Sansumg Galaxy Note3.

Estimated update time: 7 minutes

Warning: You will not be able to make or receive calls, for approximately 7 minutes during this update. This update will restart your device.

Install later | Install now "

That is all, nothing more.

I am unwilling to install the update until I know what to expect.

Just take a look at your build number (system settings >About Phone). The update would push you to newer software. Change log can be found here
