So I deleted the file com.android.provders.downloads and now my phone is throwing a process.gapps has stopped error and Google play is acting slower and won't download. Any help appreciated. I've tried all the advice on the Web including reinstall. I don't have a recovery I used safestrap. And I didn't back up. Lesson learned but too late Dang it...

Is it possible for me to download this file from somewhere? Or could I Just update my phone because it keeps asking me to? I think i have the mje version.

I fixed it. Just flashed the original recovery and deleted and wiped old data. Works Luke a champ now. Was a bit scary though.

My first Android too! Been an iPhone fan for a while but Android/Samsung have really outdone themselves. Last night I had five different apps running in one screen with no lag. Amazing!
