Galaxy Note 3 Alerts.

When I use the volume key on my Note 3 to cut the sound volume down , Ringer & Alerts it doesn't cut the Text Alerts sound down. I have looked around in the settings but I have not seen anything that would help this issue. The other Alerts seem to lower the sound when you use the volume key.

Click volume down or up once, when the pop-up appears, click the settings gear..you'll see notifications volume in there(as well as deeper in the main settings). Also fyi when you open the messaging app itself, press the menu button (left of your home hard button) and more settings for messing appear)
