All MMS Pics with same name?

Recently, I've encountered the problem with saving pictures sent to me through the stock messaging app. Whenever I try and save, I have to rename the picture since it's now receiving all pics under the same filename. Am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else experiencing this annoyance?

That's strange. The files usually have a name associated with the camera's phone it's coming from. Is it just pictures you're receiving from one person in particular, or all senders? If one person, it could be how they're saving pictures on their end.

Thanks for your response. I've had others send pics and there is no problem. Apparently this is a problem with the way my nexus 5 sends images. I will take this to the nexus 5 section.
