Difference in view of apps?

My wife and I both have the same note 3 on verizon. The TV app and Facebook are different yet are the same version numbers. I have checked every setting and every update. Yet they look different. How is this possible?

Facebook has a new UI rolling out but you aren't going to see it until they roll it out to you.

Not sure about the Watch on app. Try seeing if a new version is available for your phone on Samsung Apps.

Did that and nothing. Facebook UI is new on mine but not the wife's. Unless the fact I have developer set? Which shouldn't cause the apps to look different when they show they are the same versions. Watchon app has the rooms on my remote and the wife has to use the menu to change rooms. I am wondering if there are some various settings that cause apps to look different?
