Voice Commands no longer functioning

The voice commands to control the camera and music player for example have stopped working. My first thought was that Nova Prime Laucher was the culprit as reverting to TouchWiz seemed to get the voice commands working. However, I now realize that the voice commands work only intermittently when using TouchWiz. Erasing the camera data sometimes brings back the voice commands for a short period under TouchWiz..
My phone: Settings>Controls>Voice Control (ON)>Camera (voice control checked)
My camera Settings: Settings>Voice Control (ON).
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

Clear system cache.

Turn off your phone and boot into recovery mode (Hold power + volume up + home) and use the volume buttons to navigate to wipe cache partition. Use the power button to select the options.

Successfullly cleared the cache. Clear instructions, thanks. But this didn't bring the voice command function back. Still no camera voice command functions. Any further thoughts would be appreciated.
