    After updating my Samsung Note 3 this afternoon, it will not power on. I cannot even determine if it is charging. I have tried the power, volume, home button combo. Nothing. I have a seen a few others with similar questions/concerns. Anyone have any advice?

    If it was an over the air update, take it to your carrier - it's their problem. They broke it, they get to fix (or replace) it.

    If you did the update manually with Odin or a zip file, it's your problem, so you'll have to try to get the phone into download mode and flash a ROM.

    Verizon said I "bricked" it and yes, it was their update They are replacing it (I had coverage--but interestingly not for "bricking"). I saw some other threads with instructions for unbricking a phone . . . Anyone have any experience with his?
