VZW OTA to remove Virus Vulnerabilities?

Att, Tmobile, and even sprint have already sent out ota to block vulnerability to stagefright virus. We pay mo4e than them. How about some protection from VZW?

AT&T has? Funny, I didn't get it on either of my phones.

Other people on ATT got theirs. Check out the reviews of Lookout stagefright app where it is discussed. Other Samsung phones have also received the update on vzw now but nothing for note 3

My phone is downloading an OTA update right now. Not sure what's in it. I assume vulnerability (Stage Fright) fixes.

I think it knows I want to replace it with something newer, and it's still trying to look useful.

Stagefright detector now shows no vulnerability. Good to get that straightened out.

New Build number LRX21V.N900VVRUEOF1. New kernel dated 16 July 2015 21:44:32 Korean Standard Time. New SE For Android dated 17 July 2015 01:13:24. Took 20 seconds to download, 2 minutes to install, then 15 minutes for "Android is upgrading". Seems stable.

Is there an OTA Update to be pushed out or does it have to be done manually?
I don't know how to do that!

Settings, scroll to the bottom, System Updates, Check For System Update. If it's available, you'll get it. I'm in Portland Oregon and did mine yesterday morning. The kernel is dated 16 July so they got it out pretty quick once it was our turn to get some love.
