My Verizon S4's lock screen doesn't seem to behave the way I've seen other people describe theirs.
When I don't set any security, I get this ugly picture of a dead twig in front of an out-of-focus sunset. This ugly picture does not change when I set custom lock screen wallpaper, and cannot be made to display lock-screen widgets or shortcuts.
Even more obnoxiously, when I set up any kind of pattern or password, I get a totally different lock screen. This one does display the wallpaper I choose, but here's the kicker: After I enter my password or pattern, it goes back to the stupid ugly dead-twig-in-front-of-sunset lock screen, where I have to swipe down AGAIN in order to get to my home screen.
Nothing I've done has made that stupid ugly screen go away.
Has anyone else seen this behavior and figured out how to turn it off?
