N00b question...

So after having the iPhone for a couple years I have made the switch to Samsung and LOVE my S4.

But, I was wondering, for those that have had the iPhone as well in the past, is there any settings that make my notifications appear on the home screen in lock mode like the iPhone? I like the blue light notification (reminds me of the old BB days) but I wish I could just look at the phone and see score updates, twitter/facebook notifications appear on the home screen... If there isn't, no big deal. I see where Apple totally stole the notification center though, it's almost identical to Droid's...

The option is available on the S4. I have it on mine. Go into the messaging app, settings, and under notification settings check the preview message box. Hope that helps
