Is there a way to get the browsers to adjust the text when you pinch and zoom? My old phone used to do that and it is my only dislike so far.

I have not looked for it, but you currently have 2 browsers (Chrome and Samsung's Browser) which one are you asking about.... and what browser did you use on your old phone?

Explorer... NO... The Thunderbolt did not have Explorer running on it. HTC might have had their own browser, but it did not have Explorer... no android has ever had Explorer running on it, or it had Chrome later in life after the ICS update.

I'm fairly sure Chrome does not have this option, and I'm sorry I can not check Samsung's browser since I disabled it. Maybe someone can check that browser, or you can look around with it's settings.

I know what you are talking about and it sucks... the stock browser on my Bionic and even my old BB would format web pages into a column view so they were easy to read without needing to zoom in.
The best solution I have found so far is to use Opera and check the Text Wrap option in settings... the pages will still open up with microscopic text but a quick double tap will reset the page into something legible.
I don't understand why this is not a standard option nor why most people around here don't see it as a flaw... I guess they love to pinch and zoom their way around a web page.

When using the built in browser just double tap the screen where the text is and it will format the text to fit on the screen...

That just makes it go back to normal when you first open the browser. It still doesnt adjust when you pinch and zoom.
