Photos uploaded to PC, not auto rotated

I previously had HTC phones (Thunderbolt) and when photos were uploaded to my PC, they were automatically auto-rotated to the correct orientation on the PC (landscape/portrait). However, now I have a Galaxy Note 2 and an S4 and for both phones, the photos are NOT rotated automatically. Its odd, because on the phones they are displayed rotated correctly. Is there some odd Samsung option I'm missing for having this option?

I have same issue with me. I once took a picture in portrait mode, and set it as my twitter profile picture, and it was rotated sideways. Very odd.

The default orientation for the S4 camera and video camera is landscape, or with your home button on the right side. If you take pics in portrait mode it seems to always flip them back to landscape.
