How do I save a screen shot?

I'm a total Galaxy newbie. On my Motorola phones a captured screen shot got put in a screenshots folder.

I see that my screenshot now gets put in the clipboard. Where I need some help is how to get the image into a file on the phone:
- How do I create a new file?
- How do I write the clipboard into the file?

I believe there's an option in the settings that will take you directly to "Edit" when you take a screenshot. You can save it from there and it will show up in your gallery in an album labeled screenshots.

Right you are! It's My device>Display>More settings>Edit after screen capture.

No problem Sorry I didn't provide directions on how to get to that option, on a custom ROM so it's different than on the stock ROM
