    Since the last update I've noticed remarkably better 4G service in New York City especially inside my office building. Previously it was spotty at best and unusable at worst. This is the best part about this update so far

    I do notice that there seems to be a faster battery drain when actually using the device verses stand by. I wonder if this is a by product of the better signal (seems ridiculous, I know). My battery usage is mostly taken up by the screen though.

    As for the Security Message and cameras firmware message, I did not see any of those.

    Note: I did a full factory reset shortly after I updated and I'm not rooted.

    From my understanding to give you better signal they have to bump up the power to the antenna, so you'll see a little more battery drain but more signal.

    Yea. That's what I thinking. I did read something in Verizon's press release that the update contained support for a a newer type of LTE band
