For some reason, every time download an app and open the apple from Google play, the browser opens to page called ad.leadboltads.net. I have tried several apps such as Addons detector, Lookout add on detector, but cant find an app that is causing this or how its being caused. Any suggestions?

Start removing app until it away... if it doesn't then I'd do a master reset and start over from scratch.

Leadboltads also has an opt-out app - Airpush - Mobile Ad Network | Mobile RTB | Android App Monetization; there's also an opt-out link at the bottom of that page.
