copied music to sd card not showing up

This worked before I did the update. I had to perform a reset after the update because of other issues. Today I copied a file folder from my computer to my SD card but when I try to find it on the phone ANYWHERE it isn't there. If I take out the SD card and put it on my computer it says that it is there and will play on my computer. Anyone have any idea what is going on here?? Like I said before, I have done this before with no problems. Thanks in advance.

Well I figured it out. I ended up just copying it to the music folder instead of my SD card. When I first copied it to the folder it didn't show in the folder again, but then I went into settings and the "show hidden files" was not checked, so I checked it and bingo, it showed up. I then just moved it to my SD card and all is well!
