Replacement 4G SIM card

So I got a new replacement SIM card sent to me, but I'm trying to figure out how to activate it. It is not associate with my account, but I have no idea how to actually get it activated and ready to go. Anyone know how?

Although I have not done this, it was my understanding that all you have to do is to insert it and turn the phone on and it will happen automatically. Have you tried that?

Call Verizon (from another phone) or go into a VZW store. Whatever you do, do NOT dial *228.

How is the Verizon forum, the wrong forum?

All you should have to do is put the sim in and turn the phone on. If they ordered the sim for you, it's already associated with your MDN, you just need to activate it. If not call them.
