Manager upgrade

What's the furthest out a manager can do an upgrade. I have a line due in Nov and want to get my kid a maxx

Depends on the manager. No one here knows. When I worked there, my sup didn't care at all, if a customer even said the word upgrade, she approved it. Others were by the book.
