In the near future I will be traveling to Costa Rica. I have been trying to figure out the best way to make and receive calls. Verizon has coverage in Costa Rica. Below are some possible options.
:
- have verizon enable International calling on my Razr maxx.
- get a gsm card when I arrive in CR, if it will work on my phone
- buy a cheap phone when I arrive
- use groove ip when there is wifi available to make outgoing calls
When looking a the Verizon prices it stated call were $20/minute and data was also incredible high. Has anyone here used their razr maxx in CR or another foreign country that has verizon coverage? Also I have unlimited data now and do not to lose it by changing my plan.
