Nexus 7 LTE Without Shared Data

Another question for you guys. I currently have a family plan configured as follows: My line is the primary with unlimited data and my wife's line as a secondary with a 2 gb plan, so there is so shared data. I would like to get a Nexus 7 LTE and add this tablet line to my account. All I see advertised though is "add a tablet line to shared everything for just $10 more." Is it possible to do this, and if so does anyone know what the plan options might be like? I was hoping it would just be something like 2gb of data for $30 on that tablet line. Appreciate any answers.

You would have to have a smartphone device, then activate it on the line . Then take the sim out of that line and put it into the nexus 7. This is the only way you would get the nexus 7 on a phone only plan. Also if you want unlimited data, then you could purchase a line
