Are you sure that's AWS? I am hitting that in some spots here in Jacksonville on T-Mobile and I don't think we have anything like 20x20 LTE here yet.

Don't believe Droid Razr M has AWS. Previously best download was about 30 Mb/s. Could it be all of the new phones moving to AWS freeing up bandwith for older phones?

Razr m doesn't have aws. But yeah, newer devices moving to aws frees up some for the older devices.

My speeds are still all over the place. Nothing pushing some of the numbers dpham00 is. Even during non peak times I have yet to push over 25mps consistently. I hit 30mps once I think. Now peak ours my speeds are better, between 15mps and 25mps when before I was lucky if I got 5mps to 10mps. Not to impressed so far.

Try to find a good signal tower (60dbm or less) at non peak hours

Best way to find said tower? I downloaded some of the apps you suggested, not really sure how to use them.

There are websites that list towers but they are hard to use. I would suggest start by finding somewhere where you have 5 bars of service or at least 4 bars. Use open signal maps to see which direction the tower is in and head in that direction. Keep in mind that I say tower, but it could be attached to a building or whatever. Also, standing right under the tower won't get good signal. The way signal propagates, you need to be hitting the tower at a certain angle. After that, use the advanced signal status to watch the rsrp dbm, it should be decreasing as you get better signal. I find about 1000 feet from the tower gets optimal signal. But keep in mind that tower height makes a difference. There are also widgets that you can use to see signal strength. .

Well I have 4 to 5 bars consistently inside my apartment. There must be a tower pretty close.

There are so many variations. The tower is less than half a mile from my house, but in my house, signal ranges from 2-5 bars. 4 bars is pretty decent. Another thing that you can do is to drive around with the advanced signal status app open and watch the LTE rsrp. It probably is less than half a mile, especially if you are in an apartment complex.
