Thought it was interesting. Only 12% opt for edge. I thought with the way Verizon was pushing it that it would be higher.

I did the edge program for at least two of my phones. I usually pay them out earlier than the end date.

I think this is a good program and I'll be using it again for maybe the Moto X, Sony Xperia Z3 , Note 3 or 4, or the Galaxy S5.

I either buy used on Swappa.com or wait for a really good price on VZW. Forr example I got my current Note 3 new on VZW for $49.00. I bought my first Note at full price and plan to NEVER do that again. So pretty much I have no use for Edge.

I wish I could get the Note 3 new for 50 bucks, but I have to game the system to keep my UDP.

At what price? The Note 4 is already expensive as it is. If it is higher than that I would not consider it.

If you are on the more everything plan, you would be effectively paying $200 after 20 months, factoring in the discount for 10gb or higher.

So for this kind of thing to work do you have to trade in your old phone? Or so you just pay full price over time?

If you want a new phone you have to pay 60 percent of the old phone off then you trade it in. If you pay off the phone you can keep it and Edge a new phone.
