What was the date (2014) when Verizon started requiring $30/month data for 2 years for all upgrades? (for example, if you upgrade a basic line to a smartphone, but then remove the smartphone, Verizon still made you pay $30 month for data)

It was before the iPhone release I remember that much. You can use the best but loop hole to bypass it
