Wanting to get the Note 4, website says 26 a month or so, which is high, but its spread over 2 years, so, just wondering, if I did that, would I lose my UDP?

Yep. Say sayonara to the UDP if you opt into the Verizon device payment plan.

That's exactly what I do to keep my UDP.

Verizon is really simple. If you have an UDP and make any change to anything, you lose it. They don't want UDPs any more, so they'll use any excuse to put you on a shared plan of some kind. (That's for now. Remember, 400 minutes of voice a month used to be about normal, and one second over the minute mark cost the whole minute. Five years from now, data may be unlimited as a matter of course, like voice is now. On all carriers. "Limited data? That's nuts." may sound as normal as "Limited voice? That's nuts." would now)
