I was on BestBuy.com checking the weekly deals on phones. I noticed Verizon is offering early upgrades on any line that's 7 or more months in their current DPP. I'm not sure if they try to switch you to a different data plan. I'm surprised this wasn't advertised. Here's a couple screen shots.

I do wonder how they're going to lower my device access fee from $9.99 to $20.00 per month. Lol.

Any sign of throttling?
Only tonight when I was at a part of town that is super jam packed... But honestly not sure if I was being throttled since my gf who is at 5 GB could only pull 1 Mbps .. and friend on AT&T unlimited (fresh cycle) did the same. I think the area was just slammed because once I was out about 2 miles I got speed again.

Oops I out the wrong on lol the 16 Mbps was 2 miles out.. the 30 Mbps is my living room.

Great info. Thanks. Worth following. If you get the chance keep us informed on possible throttling incidents.

Are you not using WiFi at home now? I am curious how you're hitting such high amounts. I used to do that when I watched a ton of Netflix but not since then.
I watch a lot of live streaming stuff at work.

At home I use wifi. I have 1 Gbps at home so I prefer to use it. Below is a test (did it after the LTE one) on my wifi :).

For some reason your pictures never show up for me on Tapatalk.

I get 125mbps right now but there is a full fiber company installing wire here so I have 1Gbps soon enough!

Do they still charge the extra 20 on new udp?

...Extra $20 for being on-contract?

As far as I know, this will end your current contract early and let you buy a new phone on DPP, so you wouldn't be on-contract.
