If you guys have virgin mobile evo 3d run a standard benchmark test. You should notice thats only in 2000-2300 range. Now do this.. Go to settings, scroll to bottom and click developer options. Under user interface there is option to check Force GPU rendering. Check it and now restart your phone. Run Standard benchmark again and you should see over 3000. It should improve performance on the phone but i"m not sure if it might drain battery faster. Just a side note on velamo benchmark this phone is right up there with quadcore asus tab. ;)

It does drain the battery faster, unfortunately, as both the CPU and GPU need to be active for 2D tasks when the GPU would largely only be active during 3D tasks. IT *IS* great to see that this little year old phone still beats the socks off a lot of new phones coming out. It's a quiet beast, for sure.
