So I want to start this thread in the Optimus den

We all find apps that are cool & interesting or just so useful. I feel we should share it amongst ourselves, it is the spirit of Android to be Open!

The first App is a SUPER GOOD File Manager: http://market.android.com/details?id=xcxin.filexpert

It is by far the best FREE File Manager one can use on their phone.

Second App is "Open Signals Map" a nifty app that shows you where your network towers are:

this app shows you how many minutes you have left on your plan and has two different widget styles.

VERY nice for our phones.


second, there is a version of Flash 10.1 that has been recompiled for our armv6 cpu, I've been using it all day and i plan to use it a lot more.

I have a few that I use all of the time.

Telenav, turn by turn GPS. LOVE IT!
Trapster - helps find the speed traps.

While driving you need music, so...
AonlineRadio, I load this up with radio streams. (Mmmmm Radio Paradise). It's easier than using 50 apps or pages or most other listening systems. This is the only one I found that lets you load the streams manually as well as use Shoutcast and a few other systems.
Pandora Radio... Personal radio stations. Between this and AonlineRadio you can only skip mp3's entirely.

Others I use regularly.
Launcher Pro - custom launcher, see the Harmonia preview image for how mine is. Theme>? Anyone can theme this.
Quick Settings - easy access to brightness, wifi and tether.
Teamviewer, a computer remote control system. I maintain several servers and computers all over, so this makes it easy. Also handy to check my file server at home.
Beautiful Widgets, weather, and time on a widget. Combine it with...
Widget Locker and you can put current and 5 day forecast on your lock screen.
Virgin Minutes checker.. see how many minutes I have left
Bank of America, check my account balance, find a nearby ATM. Still waiting for photo check deposit though.
Mybackup Pro - for backups, seriously cannot emphasize this one enough. MAKE BACKUPS!
Savagelove App. - feel better about your love life by reading how bad others are.
