When I pillow my head every night - do you guys recommend shutting the Optimus V down while charging its battery - or just leaving it on all the time? ps you guys r smart!

Linux: The OS people choose without $200,000,000 of persuasion.

Linux: Because rebooting is for adding new hardware
Windows: Because rebooting is for adding hardware, adding software, regularly scheduled downtime, and should also be done on a daily basis to keep the machine running.

Sorry guys.. had to throw those in.. I ditched M$ a long time ago.

windows 7 turned things around. im running the windows 8 dev preview and wow its just so much nicer than 7, which is saying something.

but yes in the XP and vista days I was on linux 24.7

to the OP, my phone stays running 24/7 and its overclocked and i dont have a problem. unless there is some hard error or something it doesnt reboot. I actually go 6-7 days at times without a reboot, and when I do its becuase I let the battery die
