ADB Sooner Interface

Hi everyone,

I am having a problem getting the VM670 drivers installed on my xp system. Win XP sp2. I have 6 usb ports on the system - 2 in front 4 in rear. No matter which port I use, The Sooner interface fails to install. If I look in device manager, there is a yellow triangle with the exclamation point. Windows won't give me any other information than it failed. If I try to update drivers, it still fails.

Anybody have any suggestions? Am I just doing something stupid? is there an incompatibility issue with certain systems that is known?

I have tried several different sets of drivers and they all fail that driver. The mass storage drivers load just fine.

Any ideas, help would be appreciated.

Edit: Found a solution on another forum after lots of searching. Delete the windows\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys file
and remove the HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\wdf key and remove the HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\wdf01000 key.
Then plug in your phone and the Sooner interface will load.

I don't know if this works on any Windows other than XP but there it is. Hope it helps someone.
