I've been without any VM service (voice and data) for about the last 36 hours now in the greater Boston area. Anyone else? Not sure if this is applicable but FYI:

Have you contacted customer suppor to check on the status of the network within your area? I can't see service going down for that long within the great Boston area.

Your service outage is most likely due to nv. VM is sprint owned and uses sprint towers, therefore is affected by nv rollout. The Boston area is actually almost complete as it was a first round market.

You can usually expect these to last for around 1-3 weeks as that is how long it takes to fully upgrade a tower to nv.

I'm not sure in your particular area, but here in PA, there were 60 or so cell towers damaged/knocked out for awhile due to bad storms rolling through. Verizon customers were mainly affected by this lol

Finally got a reply back from the Virgin Angels, and there's tower/network issue in my area. Estimated resolution time provided is Jul 24th... I suspect it might be the excessive prolonged heat that we've been experiencing here as the likely cause...

NV is not the issue as my area was one of the first to have been retrofitted.

PA service seems to be fairly bad currently according to this site:

The affected area for my vicinity also seems to have grown since this morning.
