Twidroid update?

I really liked the twidroid twitter client that came preloaded on the phone. Of course it stopped working after the recent suspension by twitter. My question is this does anybody know of a way to upgrade the twidroid version that came on the phone to the new one that works? I don't want to have to purchase software that was supposed to be included in the phone, but I can't seem to find a way to update to a working version.

Yes...if you go the Market and look for Twidroyd For Twitter free version, it will update the Twidroyd app on your phone. They just released yet another new version this evening, actually.

I didn't know twidroyd came preloaded on phones. I might check out the new update.

You can also bring up the Market on your phone...click My Apps, and it will show you all the updates available for your phone, including Twidroyd.
