How to play downloaded porn vr films??

Hello everyone! Someone loaned me one of their vr porn films. I put it in my sd card on my S7, but when i play it on the Gear VR, from the gallery option,,it still shows up, only as the two screens while playing the film.
What am i doing wrong??

Are you using the Samsung Milk player? There should be an option after selecting your video to chose playback formats. You will have to cycle thru them until you get to the one that gives you the correct playback format.

hmmmmm....no,,i wasn't offered any options,,the device offered me the option of downloading the "gallery app", to enable me to view the media located on my device, i clicked yes. Then when i put on the device,,i clicked on my gallery,,saw the movie i wanted to view, and clicked on it to view. The movie started,,but only in those two movies, side by side view.

Try it in the milk app. While the video plays, hit the pad and it should show the video data (time played, format, etc). Click on format type and you should cycle thru different outputs until you get one that looks right.

mmmmm..except the milk app was discontinued and cancelled last year. I can't even find a torrent for it.

You want the Milk VR app from the Oculus Store. Separate app.

You can view 180° and 360° videos with no problem from the GearVR gallery app. This acts like a version of the gallery app on your phone, and will let you view any image or video file that your phone can play. Select the 180° or 360° video you want to watch, and start playing it. As soon as the video begins, and you see two separate windows, hit the touchpad on the side of the headset, and, controls will appear. To the lower-left, you'll see a choice of 2D, 3D, or 360. Select 360 -- yes, even if it's a 180° video -- and you're in the immersive environment.

Often, you find yourself looking in exactly the wrong direction. The only solution I've found is to crane my head around as close to 180° as I can, long-press the "Back" button to open the "Settings" menu, then hit "Reorient." Than you can turn back the right way, and the action's right in front of you.

Here's a great question...i like your advice.. but....i'm working overseas where the internet is filtered/censored..how can i get around the censorship whilst in the samsung internet app???

No but you can disable gear vr services and use the YouTube app directly . It can't tell if you are using the cardboard or Samsung goggles.
