So I just got my VR and I love it! I watched the Blacklist on Netflix in the comfort of my Aspen resort and watched the Empire Strikes Back on the moon yesterday! (Will this mess up my eyes??) I wanted to know which game should I buy that will not just be a gimmick, but an engrossing and fun VR experience. I do like shooters, fps, fallout 4 type experiences as well. Thanks!

Thanks, I'll try that out. It says game pad required - will the Mogo Pro pad work with the Gear VR?

I tried the Mogo Pro with the Dreadhalls game and it worked. I just played the demo but couldn't continue because the movements made me feel a little queazy. Walking through the hallways was intense and it felt like I was really walking through there. The look around movement with the controller was jerky which I think made me a little dizzy.

Ya.. I couldn't play it for the same reason... I fly jets and don't get sick but this made me want to throw up. Haha

- Anshar Wars 2:
Wow! A great VR game. A good, fast swivel chair is a must for Anshar Wars 2. You don't want to spin quickly and fall over.

I've had times where I spin 180° or even 360° quickly to keep up with the enemy ships. You don't have to but it makes the game more engaging. I really like this game. Very well done with the story, voice acting, graphics, game play. Fun!

- Protocol Zero. The demo doesn't do this game justice. Read my longer review here:

- Smash Hit: Awesome in VR, especially levels 10 & 11. Great sensation of speed.

What season/episode are you up to on The Blacklist? That's my favorite TV show.

I've not tried Netflix in VR but several people say great things about it. I don't have a Netflix account but I'd like to re-watch The Blacklist season 1 & 2, so I should do that.

What do you like best about watching Netflix in VR?

Still on season 2... that's all they have currently on Netflix. I'm trying to milk it as much as possible until Season 3 is out. I like the fact that it doesn't make me sick and it really feels like I'm watching a 100+ screen in my own private room, which feels very open and scenic.

I'd recommend HeroSpirit if you ever liked playing Zelda.

There is a party game called Keep Talking and No One Explodes that is way fun! Very unique approach to VR incorporating other people in the room that aren't plugged into the headset.

ESPER is really fun, using telekinesis to get through puzzles.

Land's End is a beautiful game, a little easy in the first 2 of 5 levels, but the experience of the whole game makes it replayable.
