Control an Android phone with another Android phone?

I have been playing with Google Cardboard a little bit. The most annoying part is trying to control the phone after putting it into the headset. I found a $5 little bluetooth controller thing on ebay, but it doesn't work all that well, and the magnetic switch thing that some setups use is much, much worse. What I think would be ideal would be if I could control the phone I have in the headset with another phone. I have several really old Android phones laying around that would be perfect. I just need an app (actually, a client/server pair) that could control an Android phone with another Android phone, exactly as if the touchscreen and display of the controlling phone were the touchscreen and display of the phone being controlled. Anyone know of such an app?

I assume you are talking about the bluetooth controller. Go to ebay and type: bluetooth controller. There are a lot of them for less than $5, but they ship from China.
