Hey guys I've searched high and low however possibly not deep enough...

Is there a way to change stock icons or install an icon theme without adopting an aftermarket launcher? I really prefer 4.2 launcher over any aftermarket one.

The lack of form factor is really ruining my Jellybean experience!

From what i've read it has not been done, but it is possible with root access.

I am surprised that nobody from the android community has tried to do this yet.

Yes, you can change stock icon designs and remain on the stock launcher. Theming may be limited to the icons as other mods require root level access.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nchanger&hl=en - Here's one, there may be others in the Playstore so do a search and see what pops up.

Desktop Visualizer also works great. It's limited to changing icons on homescreens though so you won't be able to change any icons in your app drawer.
