Palm Pre 2 leaked

Noticed this while looking around over on PreCentral. Looks to be very similar to the current Pre with some spec upgrades.

I know there are quite a few Palm fans here (myself included) that have made the switch to Android so I just thought I would share. I love webOS but they are going to need some hardware that's much better than this to make me want to go back.

It looks way too close for me, I loved the OS though.

Disappointing. At least, it cements my decision to abandon my Pre Plus. I genuinely hope this is some kind of intermediate device soon to be augmented by a super phone with at least a 3.5 inche screen and a bigger battery.

Blah! WebOS is amazing. Don't screw up my PalmPad! (I bet it'll be 10 Pixies all taped together.)

That's the best they could do? Same thing with a faster CPU?

The biggest problem is still the poor app support. All the good stuff is iPhone and Android (and WP7 in the future), no big developer is going to waste any of their resources and this 3 legged horse, especially now that WP7 is a strong 3rd OS for them to develop for.

I think that's the case. This is what Palm had on deck pre-HP, the best they could do given their limited resources, and HP decided to get it out the door to keep webOS in the ring (albeit only barely) for the holiday season, while setting out to use their enormous budgets to create the "super device"
