Hello all!
I was wondering if there was anyway to check if I have CWM installed, without booting into recovery mode.
Mainly due to the fact, that I don`t want it screw up.
I use a toolkit for the XOOM, to install it, but just reboot the device.
Thanks for helping, or reading.

When going to choose a rom, it'll say you need cwm installed to load a custom rom.

You might have to push superuser before you can do the recovery. I've had issues with recoveries on my xoom. Cwm would be there but without renaming a system file, I couldn't ever boot into cwm unless I did so from rom manager.

Try to root first. Unless it uses cwm to install root. If I had my original guide to rooting my xoom I'd help you out. I'll have to look. Cwm saves to internal. External basically does nothing

You don't need an external. I did it all on internal. I know it says external but it doesn't matter

I'd just try to do it from the XDA guide. I didn't have any issues doing it that way. The files aren't that big

I'll try to show you with screen shots what to do when I get home from work. You almost have it.
